About Deborah Cooper
Meet Our Founder & CEO
“I’ve always had a love of all things organizing and moving,” admits Deborah Cooper, Founder and CEO of Beautifully Moved. “My first job in high school, while I was growing up in Boulder, Colorado, was at a store called A Place for Everything. It was an organizing store, much like The Container Store of today. I was hooked.”
Deborah went on to get a Bachelor of Science in family and child development at Texas State University, and worked with abused children at a children’s home in Kerrville, Texas. She then moved to Houston and founded a foster care agency. As Director, she worked there five years before deciding to stay at home with her daughters (also a true test of organizational skills and patience on a daily basis).
This naturally led to helping people unpack and move in 2012, something she could still do while keeping up with her daughters’ busy schedules. The hobby quickly evolved into a full-time unpacking business.
“In 2018, the business was officially renamed Beautifully Moved,” explains Deborah. “All things organizing, moving and staging!”
When Deborah Cooper is not helping people take the stress out of the moving process, she loves spending time with her family, showing her horses at American Quarter Horse shows and visiting her home state of Colorado to ski.
